A project called "A Teacher’s Story" utilized the
writing process, reflection and personal narrative to ‘give voice’ to
prospective teachers. These prospective teachers created an employability
portfolio which is a departure from the more traditional portfolio used most
frequently in pursuit of a teaching position. Electronic tools captured the
voice of the future teacher creating an engaging and often powerful
multimedia experience for the intended audience. It is storytelling for the
21st century. Imagine the potential of digital storytelling for their future
students! |
